Bluetooth pairing and connection

A. In the powered-off state, press and hold the "multifunction key" for 3 seconds, and the red and blue lights will alternate flashing. 

B. Turn on the Bluetooth on your mobile phone and click on "Search". When "M98" appears, click on "Pair and Connect". After the connection is successful, the LED will slowly flash blue and the phone will display "M98" as connected. At this point, you can listen to music or answer calls through the Bluetooth headset. 

C. The functions include using the multi-function keys on the Bluetooth headset, the volume up key, the volume down key, controlling the answering and hanging up of the phone, as well as the play/pause, skip up/down, and volume increase/decrease of the music. 

One-to-two usage method 

1. The mobile phones connected to M98 are divided into two types: Type A and Type B. 

2. First, connect to machine No. A, in the off state. Press and hold the "multifunction key" for 3 to 4 seconds. The red and blue lights will alternate flashing. After the machine is turned on, it will enter the pairing mode. Turn on the Bluetooth function of machine No. A and search for devices. Once "M98" is found, click to connect. After the connection is successful, turn off the Bluetooth function of machine No. A. M98 will then re-enter the pairing state. 

Then pair the B device with M98 again, following the method used for the A device. Once the pairing is successful, turn on the Bluetooth function of the A device and click on "M98" to establish the connection. (Some phones may have an automatic reconnection function.) 

When in "one device for two users" mode, only the music from one phone can be played. If you want to play the music from the other phone, you must first pause or turn off the music from the first phone. The same applies to making calls.

Charging

When the battery of M98 is low, the red light will flash. Please charge it. After approximately 2 hours of charging, when the red light goes out and the blue light remains on constantly, it indicates that the battery is fully charged. 

Charging connection

Please connect to M98 using the Type_C connector of the Type_C charging cable. 

*Attention: 

When the M98 is not in use, please recharge it once every two months. 

Q&A

A. How to reconnect? What if there's no connection? How to reconnect when the connection is lost over a long distance? 

When M98 successfully connects to your mobile phone, it will automatically reconnect to your phone every time you turn it on. If it fails to reconnect, please re-pair the connection. It is required to reconnect within 10 minutes. If it fails to reconnect after 10 minutes, it will automatically shut down. After a long-distance disconnection, it will only report once (Your headset is connected). 

B. How to delete the pairing records? 

When the device is powered on, simultaneously press the multi-function key on the earphone and the volume reduction key for 5 seconds. This will erase the pairing records in the earphone. If the records are erased, it will be impossible to reconnect. You will need to re-pair and connect (it can be cleared while in music mode). 

C. What is the pairing password? 

If there is a password input prompt when some devices connect to M98, you can try entering 0000 (four zeros), 8888 (four eights), 1111 (four ones), or 1234. 

D. Which devices can be charged? 

As long as the DC voltage is above 5V and the current is over 500mA, devices such as car chargers, travel chargers, computer USB ports, etc. can all charge the M98. 

E. What should we do if some abnormalities occur, such as being unable to turn on the device, connection issues, and so on? 

You can try the charging reset method: Connect the charging cable for charging, complete the reset and shut down the device. After restarting it, you can use it normally. If it still doesn't work properly, you can seek support from the customer service or the manufacturer. 

F. Under what circumstances will the device automatically shut down? 

The device will automatically shut down if the connection lasts for more than 10 minutes or if the battery voltage drops below 3.1V.
